Flu Vaccination Programme
We are currently within the annual flu vaccination programme and are still vaccinating those 'at risk'.

ANNUAL FLU VACCINATION PROGRAMME
The flu vaccine is available free on the NHS for:
- anyone over the age of 65
- pregnant women
- children and adults with an underlying health condition (particularly long-term heart or respiratory disease)
- children and adults with weakened immune systems due to underlying conditions
FLU VACCINE FOR CHILDREN
In the autumn/winter of 2014/2015 the annual nasal spray flu vaccine will be available for all children who are aged 2, 3 and 4 years old on 1st September 2014, as part of the NHS childhood vaccination programme .
Patients who are aged 2, 3 and 4 years old will be contacted by the surgery in due course.
All primary school-aged children and secondary school-aged children in years 7 and 8 will also be offered the vaccine as part of a pilot programme which is being organised through the schools.
